Rival players have now been fined a total of $10,500 this year alone for incidents in which Higgins has been the victim.

He was fined $1500 for misconduct in round seven in an incident involving McVeigh and $2000 for a misconduct charge involving Josh Dunkley in round 14.

Dayne Zorko has been targeted four times by opposition players this season.

Richmond's Jack Graham was handed a one-match ban for striking Zorko in Round 4, while three other players have been fined $6500 for incidents involving Zorko.

Adelaide midfielder Matt Crouch, Hawthorn stopper Dan Howe and Geelong captain Joel Selwood have all been the victim in match review charges on three occasions each.
