The boys played the game out pretty well against Collingwood Tommo. We pretty much stayed to all our structures and didn’t go away from it which was good. We always seem to play well against Collingwood. I think we took a lot out of the match and it was probably one of the better losses that we’ve had all year.

The best middle distance runner would be Niall McKeever the Irishman. He nearly holds the record for our 3km time trial. Probably the fastest over the 100m would be Toddy Banfield or big Dodge Merrett.

My team’s going alright in Dream Team - Boonj’s Bandits only just missed out on the 8. But we’re through to the preliminary finals of the minor premiership so we’ll see. There’s heaps of blokes in Dream Team, Daniel Rich is probably going the best out of all of them. He might win his league.

Na, Luke and I get along fine. We’re good mates, we just like to give each other a bit over the year. Luke’s probably one of the nicest gnomes you’ll ever meet. He’s good to put in your Nanna’s garden.

It would be funny to see me go up against Luke Power because he couldn’t punch his way out of a wet paper bag. He always says he’s tough and pushes blokes around on the footy field but he hasn’t actually done that since big Alastair Lynch retired - Luke always used to go up and be cheeky and push someone around, and then run away and hide behind Lynchy and then Lynchy would save him. So it’d be a good fight to see.

Rocky and Reddo have both had good years and it’s going to be probably out of those two and Simon Black. Blacky’s had a very good year.
Hey Ash, I am a big fan of the Lions ever since Simon Black was drafted to them as I went to High School with him (same year). What is your best moment of playing with Simon Black and do you think he is a good chance at winning this year’s Brownlow Medal?

Blacky’s had another good year as I say, and he’s always a chance to get some Brownlow votes so it will be interesting to see how many he polls. But I think it’d be difficult to get past Chris Judd for the Brownlow.
