Sam Mayes will play his 100th match for the Brisbane Lions on Sunday after being named in the 22-man team for the clash against Essendon.
Jarrod Berry also comes back into the team after missing last weekend's match with a minor hamstring complaint.
Mitch Robinson (toe) and Charlie Cameron (foot) will both miss the match.
Mayes made his debut for the Lions in Round 3, 2013, after being taken with pick number eight in the 2012 AFL Draft.
Originally used more as a forward, Mayes now does his best work coming out of defence and had a career-best year in 2017.
He featured in the first four Senior matches of 2018 before being moved to the NEAFL where he has performed well in a variety of positions.
Hugh McCluggage and Allen Christensen have both been named to play after passing their respective fitness tests.
Bounce is at 1.10pm on Sunday and the Lions will wear their Sir Doug Nicholls guernseys for the match. Tickets are available here.
