Lions Co-Captain Jed Adcock answered questions from fans immediately following the team's Round 5 win against Melbourne at the Gabba.

Jed Adcock: Hey Guys, Jed here, great win tonight, ready for your questions.

Steve: Gday jed, great game today. what is the usual post game structure? 

Jed Adcock: Thanks Steve, post recovery from here, eat and drink lots, quick review of the game with the coaches and make sure you get in plenty of sleep!!

Jed Adcock: Thanks!

LionFan: Great game tonight! What's with the black eyes? Little Lilly been bashing up her dad? Hahaha

Jed Adcock: Bit of friendly fire from last week against North Melbourne. Thanks Niall

Daniel: Hi, Jed! Congrats for the win tonight! Are they boys disappointed that they failed to convert those missed opportunities that we had today? 

Jed Adcock: Hi Daniel, I am sure the forward will be doing a bit of extra goal kicking, or else I will need to sneak forward again and kick some sausages from 50!

Guest: hi jed..good win...du reckon we cud hv won by lots more if wew bit more composed going indide 50 

Jed Adcock: Yeah, we didn't convert all the opportunities at goal and also missed a few targets going inside 50, something to work on through the week

LionFan: Who are you closest with in the team? 

Jed Adcock: The whole defensive unit

Roo: Great win (any win is). How did the kids go today? 

Jed Adcock: Kids were very solid again. Clarkey had a great first up game.

Pete: Hey Jed, great goal from you today. Do the boys feel like they gained a bit of form out there, or do you think there's still plenty of work needed to get back to where you think you should be?

Jed Adcock:  Our numbers tell us that we won the areas we focus on which is important to us but there is definitely a lot of room for improvement.

Cherie: Not sure who was more excited when you got your goal this afternoon, me or my five yr old :) You're our fave!! Anyway, what does this win mean for the guys? How loud was the team song - they cut it out of the telecast :(

Jed Adcock: Hi Cherie, I was pretty excited to sneak forward and get a goal. Good to get the win but still plenty of work to do, but in saying that the song was sung very loud. Great to get the win for Moloney against his old club and on his 150th!

Lavan: Jed, will you ever expand into Twitter, to join blokes such as Tom Rockliff, Brent Staker, etc? 

Jed Adcock: I'll leave the social media to the boys that love the attention :)

Pete: What did you think of Justin Clarke's debut tonight? He seems a real player, most promising key position debut for a long time I reckon.

Jed Adcock: Hi Pete, yep, very solid, you know exactly what you'll get with Clarkey week in, week out.

Lavan: Do you know much regarding Brent Staker's AFL return?

Jed Adcock: Stakes got through another solid game, and i am sure a couple more games in the reserves and he will be fit and ready for an AFL return.

Steve: Hi Jed, i noticed you got 89 supercoach points today, is there any competition between the boys on who scores the best? or who has the better team?

Jed Adcock: Rockliff always counts his points every week!

Helen: Jed, Can you please pass on to Jack that we miss his curls!!

Jed Adcock: Looks better with a shaved head, the country in him is coming out!

Forgan Mreeman: What are your thoughts on sydney next week? Is a win possible?

Jed Adcock: Haven't travelled well to Sydney in the past, but good opportunity to put good back to back games together.

Pete: What was Vossy's message to the boys in the rooms after the game? 

Jed Adcock: Very positive, hit a lot of our key indicators but moving quickly to focus on next week.

Kay: Hi Jed , good game .Hope you guys can have a win against the eagles , i'm coming up for the first time from Melbourne to see you guys at the Gabba . Can we do it?

Jed Adcock: Hi Kay, totally focus on Sydney for now, but make sure we perform this week and then we can look to the Eagles.
