Deven Robertson – 2
Draftee Deven Robertson will don the number 2 guernsey in 2020, the jumper which four-time premiership player Luke Hodge played 41 games in during his tenure at the Lions.
Three-time premiership player for the Lions Chris Johnson also wore the number 2 for both Fitzroy and the Lions.
Fitzroy great Kevin Murray played 166 games in the jumper.
Brock Smith – 1
Defender Brock Smith selected the number 1 guernsey to kick off his career at the Lions in 2020.
This jumper was made famous by Fitzroy’s Paul Roos who played 269 games in it.
Lions player Richard Champion played 183 in the number 1, while Fitzroy legend Kevin Murray played 167 games wearing it.
Ben Keays, now a rookie for the Adelaide Crows, was the last Lions player to don the number 1 jumper.
18 – Keidean Coleman
Former Hyundai Help for Kids Lions Academy product Keidean Coleman has selected the number 18 jumper to wear in 2020 and beyond.
Fitzroy’s Frank Curcio, who was inducted into the Lions Hall of Fame this year, played 249 games in the number 18 guernsey.
Nick Robertson was the last Lions player to wear the jumper.
45 – Jaxon Prior
Jaxon Prior will take over the number 45 guernsey from Connor McFayden in 2020, who elected for a different number.
Fitzroy’s Brad Gotch is the highest capped in the number 45, having played 40 games wearing it.
