The Brisbane Lions wish to advise that tomorrow’s Round 6 AFLW game against Collingwood at Hickey Park will be closed to spectators.

The Club will follow the AFL’s directive with only players, coaches, essential Club officials, umpires, AFL officials, broadcast teams, media and required venue staff permitted to attend the match. 

Lions CEO Greg Swann said the Club supported the AFL’s decision.

“Whilst we are disappointed, we believe this decision is in the best interests of our players, staff and spectators’ health,” Swann said.

“We want to do everything we can to limit the spread of COVID-19.”
