An early start faced the Lions’ first-to-four year players on Wednesday as they took part in a tough morning of training at Coorparoo.
Tackling coach Brett O’Farrell put the players through rounds of intense tackling drills preparing the group ahead of a new season.
O’Farrell brings a wealth of experience having played for the Melbourne Storm, Wests Tigers and Cronulla Sharks in the National Rugby League.

The players finished with skills and grouped running sessions, a chunk of training the players found particularly taxing.
Sam Mayes, Harris Andrews and Tom Cutler impressed in warm (29 degree) conditions with Skills Coach Ben Hudson adding:
“Cutts has been up and about, he’s come back fit and healthy.”
