Brown will overtake Terry Wallace (who wore number 16 in 254 games with Hawthorn, Richmond, and Footscray) should he line-up for his 255th match against the Western Bulldogs.
Other Lions to hold such guernsey number records include: Paul Roos (356 games in the Number 1), Marcus Ashcroft (308 games in the Number 10), Simon Black (322 games in the Number 20), Leon Harris (186 games in the Number 38), Matthew Kennedy (188 games in the Number 41).
