The Brisbane Lions will announce the Club's senior coach appointment process next week.
The process will include the formation of a sub-committee that will make a recommendation to the Club's Board.
There is no deadline for the recommendation to be made.
The Club has a number of high-quality potential candidates but will not comment further on the specifics out of respect to the process and privacy of individuals.
Given the Club's proud history, its developing list and geographical location, as well as the announcement of a new $60 million elite training and administration headquarters this week, the position will be highly sought after.
