LAST TIME THEY MET
The Lions pulled off a final quarter heist when they last met Port Adelaide in Round 22, 2012.

The Lions trailed by 13 points at three quarter time but held the Power goalless in the final term surging to an 11 point win.

The conditions at AAMI Stadium were greasy and slippery as the two sides went toe-to-toe in an intense battle. Both teams came out firing with five goals apiece in the first term as the battle for ascendency see-sawed across the next two quarters.

The Power seemed to have taken control of the game late in the third, stretching the margin to 20 points. However, a goal to Dayne Zorko on the three quarter time siren shifted the momentum back the Lions way.

Four unanswered goals in the final term and solid performances from Jonathan Brown, Josh Green, Dayne Zorko and Claye Beams, who all kicked multiple goals, helped the Lions notch up their ninth win of the year.

Brownlow Votes: 3. D. Zorko (BL), 2. J.Redden (BL), 1. T. Boak (PA)
