The AFL Match Review Panel today assessed an incident between Lions defender Mitch Golby and Carlton Captain Marc Murphy during Friday night's NAB Cup Grand Final. 

After viewing all available footage and receiving a medical report from the Carlton Football Club, it was the view of the panel that the majority of contact was made to Murphy’s shoulder, upper arm and body by Golby’s arm. 

The panel determined the force used was below that required to constitute a reportable offence, meaning no further action was taken.
