LAST TIME THEY MET
The Lions went down by 48-points when they last met Richmond, in Round 19, 2012 at the Gabba.
A five goal burst in the second term set up the Tigers victory and continued their impressive record against the Lions, with nine wins from their past ten meetings.
Despite trailing by 39-points at the final break, the Lions fought back hard in the final term with five unanswered goals bringing the margin back to 14.
But a determined Richmond responded with a six goal scoring spree that blew out the margin once more.
Jonathan Brown (nine marks, four goals and 14 disposals), Daniel Rich (22 disposals) and Dayne Zorko (19 disposals, nine tackles, two goals) were amongst the Lions best.
