The Brisbane Lions have made four changes to the team ahead of this Saturday’s clash against Carlton at Etihad Stadium.
Defender Matt Maguire returns from injury to take on the Blues, while Ryan Lester, Rohan Bewick and Claye Beams have all been recalled from the Reserves.
Maguire, 28, sustained a minor ankle injury against the West Coast Eagles but after a week’s rest, has been declared fit to play and named at half-back.
Meanwhile, Beams has been rewarded for his consistent form in the Reserves, including a 26 disposal, seven tackle performance last week against Redlands in the NEAFL.
Lester, who has played 15 senior games in 2012, also impressed in the Reserves on the weekend, finishing the day best on ground with 38 possessions.
The four come into the side in place of Patrick Karnezis, Jack Crisp, Elliot Yeo (all omitted) and Josh Drummond (general soreness).
