Please find below an edited transcript from what was said during the Q&A session.

Elliot Yeo: Hey guys, Elliot here…

Steve: Elliot! Great debut on the weekend. Were you stoked when Vossy gave you the call up?

Elliot Yeo: Hi Steve, yeah I was pretty shocked, but excited at the same time! :)

Jesse: Hey Elliot! Cracking debut on the weekend, are you pleased with how you went?

Elliot Yeo: I was happy with how I went, but obviously still need to improve on certain areas of my game

Mum: Hi darling. Are you eating your vegetables?

Elliot Yeo: Yes Mum

Rick: Hey Elliot, do you play COD?

Elliot Yeo: Nah, not a fan of COD at the moment

Laura: Hi Elliott, can you put to rest how you pronounce your name? Is it ‘Yee-o’ or ‘Yo-ee’ or what?

Elliot Yeo: Hi Laura, it’s pronounced "Yo" :)

Bruce: Were you playing during that game when the Ressies won by 200+ points? Was it the best win you've been a part of?

Elliot Yeo: I was! It was quite a win. I was playing down back for a bit so it didn’t come down much!

IanHaso84: G'day Elliot. Great debut in a difficult match on the weekend. How are you finding the homesickness to be going? Are you keeping in enough contact with your family and mates?

Elliot Yeo: Hi Ian, the homesickness has been OK so far, I don’t mind Brisbane at the moment. I do miss mum’s cooking every now and then though. I keep in contact with the family and friends a fair bit :)

Jesse: Which area are you looking to improve on most/first?

Elliot Yeo: Hi Jesse, most likely my strength

yakman: Hey Elliot, how is life up in Brisbane being away from your family? Have you found a girl yet? And who was your mentor and idol growing up?

Elliot Yeo: Haha, nah no girl yet, still playing the field. I was a big fan of Peter Bell and my dad had a big influence on my footy

Leah: What's been the hardest part about training with an AFL team? Are you used to it now?

Elliot Yeo: Hi Leah, the intensity was one of the hardest parts, but I am getting used to it now! :)

Rick: Are you into any video games? Or are you more of an outdoorsy type?

Elliot Yeo: I play a bit of FIFA, and have been playing some horse racing games lately

Sophie: Hey Elliot - what was it like being presented your jumper by Chris Johnson??

Elliot Yeo: Hey Sophie, it was a bit of an honour and was really exciting :)

Rick: I bet you're a FIFA fan!

Elliot Yeo: All the lads are!

Laura: What is the origin of your name? It sounds like an Asian name.

Elliot Yeo: I think it’s Cornish, from what I’ve been told

Kerry: How is living away from home? Do you live with any of the others boys?

Elliot Yeo: Hi Kerry, I’m living with Patrick Wearden and Brad Harvey at the moment, and really enjoying the freedom!

Ronnie: Hey Elliot... what's your favourite TV Show?

Elliot Yeo: I’m a bit of a fan of Supernatural, Breaking Bad and True Blood :)

Jim: Who in the AFL would you most like to play like? Whose career do you really admire?

Elliot Yeo: Hi Jim, I want to play like Nathan Fyfe from Freo and I really admire Simon Black :)

IanHaso84: Great to hear, buddy. I hope the older Lions boys are looking after you too.

Elliot Yeo: They do. Dan Rich helps me out a bit, and Blacky also has a quiet word or two every now and then

Jerred: Hey Elliott, have you bulked up much since starting at the Lions?

Elliot Yeo: Hi Jerred, I’ve put on around 5kgs since being here! :)

ginganinja: Hey Yeo, there are a lot of gingers at the Lions. You got a favourite?

Elliot Yeo: Good question...All the gingers here are pretty good, but I’d say Josh Green because I hang around him most out of all of them

Anthony: Hey Elliot, great debut on the weekend. What was the feeling in the group at three quarter time against the Roos when we were coming back? The boys would have been confident after North dropped a similar lead the week before…

Elliot Yeo: Thanks Anthony we were quite excited, but still had level heads at the same time. We threw everything at them, just left it too late.

Aly: I’ll be your girl haha..... Who do u room with Elliot?

Elliot Yeo: Haha, thanks for the offer! At the moment I’m with Pat Wearden and Brad (Snag) Harvey

Glen: What were your thoughts when the melee broke out. Do any of the players think of their hip-pockets when one breaks out?

Elliot Yeo: Haha, um not really. I was just trying to break it up.

james: Was there a particular club you hoped to be drafted to? Also, how did you spend the day before the Draft?

Elliot Yeo: Hi James, not really. I just wanted to get on an AFL list :) Happy to be at the Lions though!

Molly: Did your parents and family get to watch your first game??

Elliot Yeo: Yes, they did. Most flew over to come watch me play, which was a handy support base

Monica: Who does the cooking in your house?

Elliot Yeo: Everyone just takes turns, but whenever Weardo cooks I just grab a subway instead!

Sheryn and Roger: Hi Elliot - we love watching you play. What is your favourite meal?

Elliot Yeo: I love my mum’s lasagne :)

Pat: Are you scared of Browny?

Elliot Yeo: I was when I first got to the club, but now everything’s all good :) haha

Lucy: So since your single Elliot...are you interested in meeting new girls in Brisbane?

Elliot Yeo: Hi Lucy, I’m always on the look-out for meeting new people.

Bella: I LOVEEE YOU! ELL. I actually love you, you’re my perfect man, and I seriously think we should be together!

shaniqwa: I WANT TO DATE YOU PLEASE MARRY ME???

Elliot Yeo: Is this Ash?

Ben: Elliott, I'm 15 and a massive Lions fan. I was just wondering what areas of your game you worked on the most as a kid to separate yourself from the rest of the group and get drafted?

Elliot Yeo: Hi Ben, when I was a kid I worked on using both sides of my body and my fitness because they both come in handy at times :)

Salad Hunter: Is it true your salad goes through one container of hair gel per week?

Elliot Yeo: True

Sam: Are you going back to WA for the bye?

Elliot Yeo: Yes, I’ll be heading home for a couple of days to see the fam and friends :)

Emily: I've been watching "Into the Lions' Den" on youtube. Did you really not make it past year nine as Rocky says?

Elliot Yeo: He was referring to Sam Michael, but I did graduate Year 12 :)

Ari: What was it like when you first arrived at the Lions?

Elliot Yeo: I was a bit nervous, but also excited to play for the Lions at the same time! :)

Thanks guys, got to run to physio. Sorry I couldn’t answer all your questions. Go Lions! :)
