That’s right, I made a last-minute decision on Friday to get rid of Collingwood backman Heath Shaw - who is nursing a hamstring strain - and trade Carazzo into my team.
Carrazzo had started the year brilliantly, so his loss is a massive blow for the Blues - and the ‘Polka Specials’.
Now it looks like I’ll have to use another trade this week to replace him.
I also copped a zero in my backline after Grant Birchall was a late withdrawal for the Hawks’ trip to Western Australia, and both Billie Smedts and Brian Lake were also out of action.
But I probably can’t be too critical of late withdrawals considering I was one myself this week.
After rolling my ankle early last week, I was always confident that I’d be right to take on the Suns. It wasn’t really until game day that the medical staff advised that I give it another week so I don’t aggravate it further.
So I apologise to all Lions fans that might have had me in their Dream Team. I’m hoping a full week of training will have me available for selection to take on the Cats for Blacky’s 300th on Saturday night.
For the record, I had my lowest score of 1,633 and have plummeted to 340th in the Lions' League. I might have to start studying ‘Bruisers’ team pretty closely considering they’re leading the way. I guess if you can’t beat them, copy them!

But if I could give you one, it would be to watch out for Jack Crisp who played his first AFL game against the Suns and scored 67 points. He’s a very competitive young fella and could get more senior opportunities.
At only $85,000, he might be a good option for you to save some cash in your midfield.
