The Lions have welcomed midfielder Travis Johnstone back into the senior team for this Saturday night’s critical clash against the Western Bulldogs at the Gabba.

The 29 year-old has played the past five matches with the Lions Reserves side and is sure to add another dimension to the team’s midfield brigade.
Johnstone’ recall comes at the expense of Troy Selwood who has been forced out of the side with neck soreness suffered during the team’s draw against Essendon last weekend.
Selwood has had rotten luck with injury this season, having played just three of 12 matches since being concussed in a collision with Richmond’s Alex Rance back in Round 7.
