Hey Ash, all the best to you and all the Lions boys for season 2011! Is there any chance that you might be playing in the midfield more often this season?
Jess from Rockhampton (QLD)

I’d like to get up and play in the midfield but I’m quite happy up the back. We’ve got a good group of backmen who have played together for a few years now so I think we’d like to stay together and become one of the best defensive groups in the AFL.

Hey Ash, welcome back! I watched the game at Southport against the Suns, and I loved how the players could sit among the crowd. Is there any chance of this happening more often?
Dan from Ormeau (QLD)

Hi Dan. The boys got to sit in the crowd down at Southport which they really enjoy. It’s usually best to do this at the NAB Cup games because they are usually played at smaller venues so seating is limited. At the Gabba we have an area to sit in so that we can sit with our families and friends.

I hear that Luke Power and his wife had a baby daughter during the off-season. Is it true she is already taller than him?
Chris from Melbourne (VIC)

Luke Power has just had a baby girl, Mae, and she is already taller than him. Plus he only has 9 fingers and luckily baby has 10 so she hasn’t taken after her father in that instance.

I was present at the Lions visit to Toowoomba and being a big supporter of the club from a young age it was great to see the guys have a kick with the young kids, it made their day. I realize pre-season training and preparation is very hard and every Lions fan in town was appreciative of the effort put in by the club.
Liam from Toowoomba (QLD)

Thanks Liam. We really like going on the Community Camps and Toowoomba was one of the best I’ve been on.

Hey Ash, Who is your Brownlow tip this year?
Luke from Shailer Park (QLD)

My Brownlow tip this year is Scott Pendlebury. Everyone says Dane Swan will win another one but they always seem to steal votes off each other so that’s my pick - Pendlebury.

What kind of car do you drive? Who has the flashiest car of all the boys?
Samantha from Fitzroy (VIC)

Hi Samantha. I just drive a normal Commodore. Flashiest car would have go to Goose Maguire who has a big old beat-up blue ute, he really looks the part in it. Joel Patfull’s got a nice Audi but it has pretty terrible rims on it, so he really needs to get some new rims. Let us know if you can help him out.

Did you enjoy the reunion on Friday l8th March of the 2001 Premiership Team? My son & I who are silver members attended and it was a great experience to see all the players who attended.
Elaine from Paradise Waters (QLD)

It was good for the 01 boys to get together again, I’m really looking forward to the 03 one cause that’s the one I played in. The current players had training the following morning so they enjoyed it but couldn’t enjoy it too much because we had to get up early!

Hey Ash, could you tell me why Mitch Clark always looks so angry all the time? Maybe that’s just the way he looks or maybe he’s having a bad hair day or something lol. Either way, could you please tell him to smile a little more so he doesn’t look so scary?!
Leonie from Geelong (VIC)

It’s probably the new hairstyle that makes Mitch look so angry. I will tell him to smile a bit more to keep everyone happy so he doesn’t scare all the kids.
