Vice-Captain Jed Adcock and youngsters Claye Beams and Josh Green have all signalled their commitment to the Brisbane Lions by signing extended deals with the Club this week.
Adcock, 26, has signed a three year deal, while Beams, 20, and Green, 19, have both agreed to two year extensions.
The trio join a growing list of Lions who have committed to deals with the Club in the past year.
Lions General Manager, Football Operations, Dean Warren, said the latest signings indicated a strong bond between the young players at the Club.
“We’re thrilled that Jed, Claye and Josh have all committed to the Club with new deals,” Warren said.
“We have a group of genuinely talented young players here who will play a huge part in ensuring the Club’s future success.”
“It’s a significant show of faith by these young men in the direction we’re heading as a Club but also terrific news for our members and supporters.”
What the players said:
Jed Adcock
“The Club’s been very good to me and my family over the last nine years and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it. I’m really happy that I’ll be here for the next few years and hopefully finish my career here a couple of years after that. Hopefully we can start winning some more games, move up the ladder and start playing finals footy again.”

Claye Beams
“We’re building something here and there’s a bit happening - to be a part of the group, which is a great bunch of blokes, is fantastic. There’s a real belief in the group that we’re going somewhere and to be a part of that is going to be special. I’ve made a lot of close friends up here and it was a pretty easy decision at the end of the day.”
