Follow Staker's rehab
Lions fans can follow Brent Staker's rehabilitation from knee surgery on LIONS TV
Among other things, the program focussed on the overwhelming emotion surrounding Brent Staker’s latest knee reconstruction, including exclusive footage of the 28 year-old in hospital preparing for surgery.
Now Lions fans will be able to continue following Staker’s recovery and rehabilitation with further instalments from LIONS TV.
The latest behind-the-scenes footage follows the versatile utility as he comes to terms with another lengthy stint on the sidelines.
The episodes detail the post-operative process, and delve into Staker’s immediate feelings.
“It’s a funny feeling, a bit of a tingly feeling. You’re aware that your knee is sore, but there’s no excruciating pain or anything. Just a dull sort of swelling feeling,” Staker says from his hospital bed.
LIONS TV also follows him home to get an idea of how he keeps himself occupied while grounded.
“I’m starting to feel a hell of a lot better. I can’t wait to start driving and getting out of the house. Two weeks (being grounded) is enough for a guy who likes to be busy most of the time.”
Stay tuned later in the week for another LIONS TV instalment which surrounds Staker’s more recent progression through rehab - including his first steps back out on the training track.
Brent Staker’s rehabilitation will be an ongoing series on LIONS TV throughout the year.
