Saturday featured a couple of Club activities - both of which were hampered by transport difficulties.

A selection of players visited the AFL Asian Championships where ex-pats from all over Asia had the chance to put their skills on display.

However, the bus driver in charge of transporting the Lions players, AFL Commission and media to the tournament had trouble finding the venue and the trip ended up taking over 90 minutes. This meant the team had only limited time to actually watch the action.

Former Collingwood and Sydney defender Andrew Schauble was a notable participant for one of the teams in what proved a high quality contest.

Meanwhile, those players participating in today's Shanghai Showdown performed their final training session of the week at Jiangwan Stadium.

But the team was stranded at the stadium for more than an hour once training had finished as the bus had neglected to collect them afterwards. Players were then forced to share a number of taxi trips back to the hotel.
