Travis Johnstone and Justin Sherman have today been withdrawn from the Lions team that will face Adelaide at the Gabba on Saturday night.

Johnstone failed to complete Friday morning's training session due to hamstring soreness while Sherman injured his back overnight.

The pair have been replaced in the senior line-up by Lachlan Henderson and Cheynee Stiller who received the late call-up on Friday afternoon.

Michael Rischitelli, Robert Copeland and debutante Tom Collier have also been included in the Lions’ team ahead of Saturday night’s clash against Adelaide at the Gabba.

Rischitelli has overcome a minor knee injury which sidelined him for last week’s match against the Bulldogs, while Copeland returns after kicking seven goals for the Suncoast Lions last week.

Collier becomes the fourth player to debut for the Lions this season after he was taken with Pick No.25 in the 2007 National Draft. The 19 year-old is a versatile and athletic defender who captained Tasmania in the 2007 NAB AFL U18 National Championships.

The Lions will also be without key defender Jason Roe who succumbed to a hamstring injury during last week’s match, while Matthew Leuenberger has been omitted.
