The Brisbane Lions AFC advises that this Thursday night's Round 5 match against St Kilda at the Gabba will commence at 7:45pm - not 7:40pm as originally promoted in the Club's official 2011 AFL Fixture.
The match will start five minutes later due to ANZAC Day observance.
The Lions will remember the sacrifice of those who took part in the first major military action fought by Australia and New Zealand forces during the First World War prior to the match.
In honour of the ANZACs, Representatives from the RSL will take to the field before the game to lead the ode and bugle salute as well as help sing the Australian national anthem.
