Fresh from a 92-point win against Greater Western Sydney, the Brisbane Lions are determined to secure consecutive wins for the first time in 2012 - and North Melbourne are in their sights.

While the Lions’ record at Etihad Stadium has been unfavourable in recent times, the Club will be relying on the support of its loyal band of Melbourne-based supporters this Sunday to help lift them over the line.

Fans who are headed to Etihad Stadium this Sunday afternoon will also have the opportunity to meet some of the Lions players at the Club's official after match function in the Victory Room (Level 1, Aisle 14-16).

It will be the third - and final - chance for many of the Victorian faithful to meet their heroes after a match in 2012, with the exception of those who have already booked into the Hall of Fame event on Saturday 23 June.

Following an unexpected hold-up back in Round 6, the Club is determined to ensure selected players and coaches arrive sooner after their post-match warm-downs and meetings are completed (which will still be approximately 45-60 minutes after the final siren).

There will be plenty of activity during the wait, with Gold 104’s Craig Huggins on hand to conduct roving interviews, host some Lions trivia and give away plenty of prizes.

In addition to the players’ post-match meet and greet, the Lions are encouraging all Victorian-based fans to sit together at Sunday’s game to bring a united ‘roar’ from the stands.

All members and supporters heading to Etihad Stadium with general admission are advised to sit between Aisles 14-15 on Level 3 (from row G backwards).

This area is open to the general public (including opposition supporters), however we’re hoping to drown them out in a sea of maroon, blue and gold.

Loyal Lions fan Mikey Dynon will lead the charge on the day, and will be stationed at the Club’s membership marquee (located on the Bourke Street footbridge) pre-game with further instructions on where to sit.
