Voss has softened his stance after originally being a critic of the system trialled during the NAB Cup, describing it as "clunky".
The Lions were on the end of a contentious review in the opening round of the pre-season competition when an apparent goal by Patrick Karnezis was reviewed and deemed a behind.
Voss says he will sit back and assess the process as the season wears on.
"The current landscape says we have to get decisions right," Voss said.
"It's a big industry, it's a massive industry. We've got things like betting agencies that are betting on it, people with their own hard earned cash that are putting money in the game.
"From our end, being able to get decisions right is crucial. Teams finishing in the eight, it can be one game, it can be one goal, it can be the difference, so if every inch does matter it's important that they get things right and if that's their intention, then good."
The new system will see umpires refer goal umpiring decisions to a score reviewer who will then confirm the result with on-field officials.
Voss said he was aware the broadcast technology would have some "blind spots" and would not be conclusive in every instance.
"At this point in time we put complete faith in what the AFL is trying to achieve," he said.
"We understand where they're trying to go with it and at this point in time we're happy to roll with it and we hope that the technology can be improved as we go."
The Lions held their season launch at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Friday night and announced a three-year deal with insurance company Vero as its new coaches sponsor.
The players have returned from four days off and Voss said he was still far from settled on the 22 that would take the field in round one against Melbourne on March 31.
"We'll have a couple of good, healthy match committee meetings I would have thought," he said.
The only players unavailable are captain Jonathan Brown (cheekbone) and returning trio Josh Drummond, Sam Docherty and Dayne Zorko, who are all healthy but short of match fitness.
