CHARLIE Cameron is set to face North Melbourne on Saturday, and former No.1 draft pick Cam Rayner is also a shock chance of returning ahead of schedule after completing training
Rayner is back from a hamstring strain, and Cameron finished Saturday night's win against the Western Bulldogs with his knee in ice after an awkward landing in the final quarter.
Brisbane defender Darcy Gardiner confirmed the All-Australian forward trained strongly on Thursday, saying the livewire was "good to go".
"It's good to have him back out there, he's very energetic for the group," Gardiner said.
"It didn't look too good but it's good to see he's healthy.
"He's not All Australian for no reason, he's a crucial part of the team."
Ryan Lester should be available after missing the past three matches with a hamstring problem, but the unlikely bolter is Rayner, who suffered his injury against Richmond just nine days ago.
Brisbane will not take any chances with its game-changing forward though.
After nabbing three wins from four matches in 13 days, the Lions are sitting in second place, but Gardiner said returning to a 'normal' seven-day break was no reason to relax.
"It's good to be sitting in this position.
"We had the condensed period and we were able to come away with three wins from four games, but as we've seen this year it's quite up and down so you can never be that happy with yourself."
