I have to say my favourite ride is the Claw. I had a few mates over from WA last year and one of my mates Andrew, after a big night out, decided he wanted to go to Dreamworld. So we took him on the Claw and it’s fair to say he didn’t do much after that. He was curled up on the grass, white as a ghost, scaring all the little kids and their families. He’s a bit of a girl, old Rooster.

General vibe around the club is not too bad. We’re still playing well, we could have won a few more than what we did. Things just didn’t go our way. The boys are still upbeat. Browny had his first game back against North and pulled up fine so things can only get better from here on in.

We play there in Round 14 and we usually train at Subiaco and people can come down and watch us. Keep an eye on the Lions website for times and the like.

Well, I would say me, but I’d have to say Joel Patfull. He does good jobs every week and he doesn’t really get all the hype that the other players do. I think he does one of the best jobs for us, taking out the most dangerous forwards.
Hey Ash! I was wondering what is a good way to build confidence because I'm struggling to find it at the moment. Also what is a good way of building trust with the team (I make killer choc chip cookies but I don't think thats enough)?

I find that if I’m out of form and a bit down on confidence, doing that little bit extra and training well will help. If you have a good week on the track you usually take it out to the game. Building trust - I think keep making the cookies mate, the team will like you for it.

He’s probably the most annoying and the funniest at the same time, Broc McCauley. He’s annoying because he just keeps asking questions and if you try to shut off from him he’ll ask you why you’re not listening to him. He’s also funny because, well, just look at him and you’ll have a laugh.
Hey Ash, My sister and I met Pearce Hanley down at a training session earlier this year, and we were wondering what he is like around the club? Could you also let him know that we think him and his accent are absolutely gorgeous. GO LIONS!!!

Pearce is playing really well lately, I’d say the most damaging half back going around. I will let him know that he is absolutely gorgeous. We find his accent pretty hard to understand when we’re out of the field though.
Hey Ash, just wondering if there is any reason as to why Jared Polec hasn't been getting a consistent game? He has looked good in the games he's played and the club is meant to be giving the young kids a go.

Polec played a few games and he just needed to work on a few areas. Being a first year player, you just need to bide your time and if he works on the areas that the coaches asked him to, he’ll play a lot more senior footy. He’s a good player.
Hi Ash, in the brain busters with james polkinghorne I have been seeing when you get asked the questions you look at a piece of paper does this piece of paper have the answers on it?

It does look like I’m looking at a piece of paper. As James is reading me the questions, he didn’t realise that the answers were written on the bottom of the sheet so I had a quick glance down there. There were a few answers that I couldn’t see though, so I seemed to get those wrong. I got caught out on that one.
