Brisbane Lions Head of Medical Peter Blanch says Dan McStay is the club’s main injury concern following their 30 point win over Carlton on Sunday afternoon.
The defender injured his shoulder and is in doubt for Sunday afternoon’s clash with West Coast.

“Dan McStay hurt his ACG joint, top of his shoulder, in the last quarter and he battled through. He’s going to be pretty sore this week. We’re not quite sure if he’ll get up yet,” Blanch said.
Blake Grewar suffered a similar injury in Lions NEAFL win over Redlands on Sunday and it is uncertain if he will travel to Canberra.
Meanwhile, Captain Dayne Beams continues to soldier on with his shoulder injury, which he’s been carrying since Round 14.
“Dayne’s shoulder is going ok. He’s pushing through with that. He’ll end up having surgery on that shoulder at the end of the season,” Blanch said.
