Touring the Den
North Melbourne midfielder Ryan Bastinac and Richmond defender David Astbury met with key Lions officials including Captain Tom Rockliff and Strategy and Retention Manager Craig Lambert as they toured the Club’s facilities on Friday.
24 year-old Bastinac who is contracted for the next two years, played 17 games this season but did not take part in the club's three finals matches.
The Cats’ Josh Walker had a medical at the Club on Friday.
No update on Aish
Meanwhile, Player Manager Liam Pickering said there was “no real update” on out-of-contract Lions midfielder James Aish, who has nominated Collingwood as his desired club.
North Melbourne have expressed interest in securing Aish, but Pickering said the 19-year-old had his sights set on joining the Magpies.
