The AFL has today announced an update to the Round 20 fixture, with two games set to be played in Tasmania.

The Hawthorn v Brisbane Lions match will take place at 2:10pm AEST on Sunday, August 1 at UTAS Stadium in Launceston.

The AFL, together with Hawthorn, have agreed to strict travel arrangements and other protocols as approved by the Tasmanian Government.

Hawthorn will fly-in and and fly-out for the match on Sunday via charter plane.

North Melbourne v Geelong will also take place in Tasmania, with the match now scheduled to start at 1:15pm AEST on Saturday, July 31 at Blundstone Arena in Hobart.

The Brisbane Lions are no strangers to Tasmania, having completed three preseason camps in the state under Head Coach Chris Fagan.

Sunday's match will be the second time the Lions will have played in Tasmania, after beating North Melbourne at Blundstone Arena by 23 points in Round 14.

Jarryd Lyons starred for the Lions with a 36-disposal masterclass, while Charlie Cameron and Lincoln McCarthy both kicked 2 goals in the sleeting cold.
