The Lions-Deadly Choices partnership began in 2016 as the first AFL team to join Deadly Choices to support community-controlled Health Services across Queensland.
The Brisbane Lions and Deadly Choices partner to deliver health outcomes for the Indigenous community throughout Queensland. Deadly Choices aims to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to make Healthy Choices for themselves and their families. These choices include stopping smoking, eating healthy food and exercising daily.
Brisbane Lions AFL and AFLW players take up positions of advocacy and promotion to help get these vital help messages across.
