The AFL has today announced the 2022 Toyota AFL Round 1 Fixture and the 2022 NAB AFLW Round 10 Fixture.
The Brisbane Lions will get their 2022 AFL season underway at home, facing Port Adelaide in a Saturday night clash on March 19 at the Gabba.
It'll be a battle of the 2021 finalists and a must-watch opening clash as the Lions look to kickstart their season.
Last time the two teams met, Brisbane ran out 49-point victors at the Gabba.
While the AFLW reigning Premiers will close out their home and away season on the road, when they take on Richmond at the Swinburne Centre in Melbourne.
The time and date for the Lions final regular season game is yet to be confirmed, but will take place on the weekend of March 11-13.
The 2022 NAB AFLW season is the first time the competition will feature a 10 round home and away season.
The confirmation of the Round 10 fixturing follows the announcement of the Rounds 1-9 of the 2022 NAB AFLW season earlier this week.
