Rischitelli scored 97 points in the Lions’ heavy loss against Melbourne last Saturday night at the MCG while Brown was held to a season-low 38 points.
Simon Black and Travis Johnstone were the highest Lions scorers for the week with 107 points each.
Julie Johnstone continued her great form, leading her team ‘Stripes’ to their third successive week atop the Lions Dream Team competition. Her team remains 60 points clear of ‘The Mellow Johnnies’ who moved into second spot overall.
Scott Petrie’s ‘RBOS’ were the highest scoring team of the Round with 2,227 points, just 11 points clear of Ullandah Stanley’s ‘go lions go’ who not only scored the second most points for Round 5, but also moved up into fifth position overall.
Among the actual Lions players, Jed Adcock is still placed inside the top 100 while both Justin Sherman and Ash McGrath are quickly making up ground after both scored in excess of 2,000 points for the first time this week.
Sherman and McGrath are slowly recovering from poor starts which could prove their undoing by season’s end.
Sherman is now ranked 391st (out of approximately 1,100 participants) which is a vast improvement on his 618th position just three weeks ago, while McGrath has risen 171 places over the same period of time.
