Co-Captain Jonathan Brown will have surgery today to repair a tear in his plantar fascia.
Brown met with the specialist yesterday where the decision was made to undergo surgery.
He will miss the remainder of the season.
Brown said: “In the interest of the best long-term outcome and after speaking to the specialist I’ve opted for surgery.
“As I’ve said previously, the injury won’t influence any decision about my future."
Young defender Justin Clarke will also undergo surgery today to repair his right AC joint and will miss the remainder of the season.
The injury to his right shoulder was sustained in Saturday’s clash with Richmond.
Midfielder Brent Moloney will miss 3-4 weeks with a hamstring injury.
