The Brisbane Lions have made just one change ahead of their clash with North Melbourne this Saturday night at the Gabba.
James Polkinghorne will return to the Lions side in place of midfielder Brent Moloney, who will miss with a calf injury.
Polkinghorne comes into the side after a strong performance in the Lions victory over the Gold Coast Suns Reserves in the NEAFL last weekend. He finished with 25 touches, and a goal and was named amongst the Lions best in the 22-point win.
This is the second time the Lions and the Kangaroos will meet in 2013, after North Melbourne won the Round 4 clash. On Saturday the Lions will field 17 of the 22 players who played in the Round 4 loss.
The match will be Jonathan Brown’s 125th as Captain, equalling the mark of Roger Merrett. The most games captained for Brisbane are Michael Voss (210 games, 1997-2006), Roger Merrett (125 games, 199-96), Jonathan Brown (124 games, 2007-current) and Alastair Lynch (77 games, 1994-2000).
The Lions will take on the Kangaroos at 7.40pm Saturday at the Gabba.
