Dayne Zorko has been named to lead the side against Essendon at Marvel Stadium on Saturday after completing the main training session of the week today.
The skipper was subbed out of the Lions’ 11 point round one victory over Port Adelaide with Achilles soreness.
However, scans revealed he had not suffered any major damage but had torn some scar tissue from a minor procedure he underwent just prior to the AAMI Series matches.
Harry Sharp, who was the medi-sub from round one, has been elevated to the twenty-two for his fourth senior game.
The hard running second year player comes into the side to replace Mitch Robinson who is serving a one match suspension.
Sharp impressed in the final quarter against Port Adelaide when he came on for Zorko and backed it up with a strong showing in the VFL on Sunday against premiership favourites Southport.
