An unchanged Brisbane Lions AFLW team will take on Collingwood in this Sunday’s NAB AFLW Qualifying Final at the Gabba.

AFLW Head Coach Craig Starcevich has opted to remain with the same team that clinched a 32-point win over the Western Bulldogs in the final home-and-away round of the AFLW season.

Captain Bre Koenen will lead the charge for the Lions in Sunday’s elimination final which coincides with her 50th AFLW game.

Breanna Koenen will play her 50th AFLW game this weekend. She now joins her teammates Emily Bates and Ally Anderson.

While Dakota Davidson will celebrate her 25th AFLW game on Sunday.

Sunday’s Qualifying Final will be just the third time the Lions AFLW side have played at the Gabba.

Their most recent performance at the iconic Brisbane facility was also against Collingwood in the 2021 Preliminary Final, where they held on to book their place in the 2021 NAB AFLW Grand Final.

The winner of this weekend’s Qualifying Final will go on to play Melbourne next Saturday at the MCG.
