A full strength Brisbane Lions side will face the Melbourne Demons at the MCG in Saturday’s history-making AFLW Preliminary Final.

Indy Tahau will return to the Lions’ defensive unit after missing Sunday’s Qualifying Final with illness.

Young defender Maggie Harmer (omission) makes way for Tahau’s return.

Jade Ellenger has also been named in the side in what will be her 25th AFLW and Club game.

Saturday’s Preliminary Final will be the first time in the competition’s history that an AFLW match has been held at the MCG.

Nat Grider says the AFLW team is excited to embrace the unknown with playing at the MCG this weekend against the Demons.

The winner of the elimination final will go on to play in the AFLW Grand Final next weekend.

The Brisbane Lions will play the Melbourne Demons at 12:40PM LOCAL (11:40AM AEST) at the MCG.
