Brisbane’s VFL side will be hunting for their third consecutive win when they face Coburg at home on Saturday.
Coming off the back of a well-rounded effort that saw them dismantle Sydney by 59-points, the Lions will look to continue their winning form.
The absence of backline leaders Jack Payne and Ryan Lester (recalled to senior AFL duties) will make way for Jackson Hille to make his VFL debut.
Looking ahead to Saturday’s clash, VFL Head Coach Mitch Hahn said that the Lions will be looking to bring their best against Coburg.
“It’s a bit of a different dynamic for our team this week with a few changes but we’ll be looking to our senior players to bring the contest and the energy tomorrow morning,” Hahn said.
“Just like last weekend, we want to set the Club up for another great day with a win in the VFL first up before the seniors play West Coast in the evening.
“We’ve had two great wins the past two weeks and it would be great to round out this three-week block with another positive performance.
“Coburg have played some really strong teams in recent weeks, and we know they’ll come out firing on Saturday, so we’ll need to bring our best.”
