Hawthorn will be desperate to bounce back from last week’s loss to the Swans.
On the field, the Hawks are 6-3 and in a better position than at the same time last year, but there have been some close wins and tough losses to quality sides.
Hawthorn will travel north for the first time since 2008 and have won nine of the last 10 meetings between the two sides.
Injury Watch
Most notably the Hawks will be missing Jarryd Roughead who was pulled out of last weekend’s match against the Swans following a melanoma recurrence.
Meanwhile Luke Hodge is still 3-4 weeks away with a knee injury.
They’ll enter the match with a relatively healthy list on the injury front but if the Hawks opt for changes, there have been a number of players in strong form at VFL level.
Matt Spangher, Angus Litherland, Brendan Whitecross, Jonathan O’Rourke and Teia Miles were all named among Box Hill’s best on the weekend.
