The Vodafone Brisbane Lions have named an unplaced 28-man squad for their opening NAB Cup match against St Kilda on Saturday night at Gold Coast Stadium.
The selection process was an easy one for the Lions match committee considering only 28 listed players were available to play in the match.
The squad includes Subiaco recruit Daniel Rich and fellow draftees Jack Redden, Aaron Cornelius and Adam Spackman who are set to play their first match in Lions colours.
New Senior Coach Michael Voss will take control of the Lions in an official match for the first time on Saturday night after spending almost six months in the top job.
Vice-Captains Luke Power and Jed Adcock will lead the team in the absence of Captain Jonathan Brown while veterans Ash McGrath, Tim Notting and Travis Johnstone will add extra experience to the youthful squad.
