BRISBANE will face a huge test against Sydney when the two sides meet in a NEAFL clash at Newcastle Oval on Saturday.

An injury-hit Brisbane, which fielded 12 Hyundai Help for Kids Lions Academy members in its 34-point loss to Aspley last week, will have the bulk of their young brigade unavailable due to the Queensland Under-18s TAC Cup clash.

Senior-listed players Sam Mayes and Tom Cutler are among the Lions’ inclusions, with last week’s Rising Star nominee, academy member Eric Hipwood, among the outs.

The third-placed Swans are coming off a bye in the NEAFL and have added Brandon Jack and Dean Towers among their list of additions to the side which beat Southport by 52 points in Round 6.

Dan Robinson is set to make his AFL debut after stringing together some impressive performances at NEAFL level. The former NSW scholarship holder is in his third season on the Swans list and comes out of the NEAFL side alongside Harry Cuningham and Zak Jones.
