It’s the dawn of a new era for the Brisbane Lions – a new season, a new den to guard and a newfound hunger to go ALL IN in 2023.

After one of the Club’s most successful years off the field, the Brisbane Lions are roaring and are looking to make next year bigger, better, and louder than ever before, today launching their 2023 membership campaign.

2022 was historical for the Lions, achieving an all-time membership record of 43,319 and selling out four home games.

“It’s an immensely exciting time for the whole Club as we go into what really is a new era for the Brisbane Lions and of course an incredible new facility at Brighton Homes Arena in Springfield,” said Brisbane Lions CEO Greg Swann.

“As a Club we set the bar quite high last season, but we are confident in 2023 we can reach 50,000 members for the first time ever.”

As the Lions continue to be the pride of ‘Brisbane town’, the Club’s on-field success is playing a huge part in growing the Lions family.

“We’re building something special at the Den – all across Brisbane and wherever the lion heart beats, we invite everyone to join the journey,” Swann said.

“Our AFL team played finals for the fourth year in a row and were only one win away from playing off in a Grand Final.

“Our AFLW team have been absolutely superb this year and are Minor Premiers for Season Seven and looking to win their second premiership.

“So whether you are a third-generation supporter who bleeds maroon, blue and gold or you’ve only just started following football – now is the time to get behind the Brisbane Lions.”
