The Brisbane Lions will finalise their 2013 playing list courtesy of the AFL Pre-Season and Rookie Draft, which will be held at 11am (AEDT) on Tuesday 11 December.

The Lions have the flexibility of using a selection in the Pre-Season Draft (Pick No.4 overall) to fill their complement of senior-listed players, or choosing to leave that position vacant for a potential rookie upgrade.

The Club is already committed to re-drafting delisted midfielder Callum Bartlett, who has overcome consecutive knee reconstructions, at one of the Pre-Season or Rookie Drafts.

Jordon Bourke (Morningside, QLD) and Nick Hayes (Woodville-West Torrens, SA) have also been training with the Club in recent weeks in a bid to earn their spot on the Lions’ list.

Last year, the Club welcomed Justin Clarke, Stephen Wrigley, Jack Crisp, Richard Newell, and Sam Michael via the 2011 AFL Rookie Draft.

Keep posted to lions.com.au on Tuesday for the latest news from the 2012 Pre-Season and Rookie Drafts.
