Harkness scored a whopping 2,524 Dream Team points this week to rank highest among the 1,100+ participants in the Lions’ competition. It was the first time that one of the actual Lions staff/players has scored the most points for a round.
Harkness’ impressive Round 14 total also moved him into 54th position overall in the Lions’ group.
Stephen Linton (coach of ‘TruthOrConsequence’) has maintained his position as outright leader although CheyneB Brooke (coach of ‘Cloke’n’mirrors’) has moved to within just seven points of first place.
On the field, Matthew Leuenberger was the most valuable Lions Dream Team performer from last week with 121 points against Carlton.
The Lions ruckman played one of the finest matches of his young career against the Blues with 28 hitouts, 21 disposals, six marks and six tackles.
Meanwhile, Michael Rischitelli’s score of 109 against the Blues gave him a further gap on his team-mates in total points for 2010.
Rischitelli has now accumulated 1,342 points over 14 matches and leads second placed Luke Power (1,138) by more than 200.
Registered Dream Team participants are reminded to have their teams in before the Round 15 lockout at 7:30pm this Friday.
