LAST TIME THEY MET
The Lions were determined to atone for a close Round 1 loss to Fremantle when they visited Perth for the Round 14 re-match.
Although the visitors were without key players Jed Adcock (finger), Daniel Merrett (back), Todd Banfield (hamstring) and Mitch Clark (ankle), an outstanding performance by skipper Jonathan Brown in the first minutes of the game inspired the Lions, who had five goalkickers in the first half.
The Lions led by 11 points at the main break, but they faded and Fremantle took control in the second half.
The Dockers won the inside 50s (17-2), clearances (13-4), and kicked seven goals to the Lions’ three to close the gap and run out eventual 23-point winners.
Brownlow Medal Votes: 3 - G. Broughton (Fre), 2 - M. Pavlich (Fre), 1 - S. Black (BL)

The Lions will run out for the first time this year behind skipper Jonathan Brown, who was given clearance from his surgeon to return from injury (cheekbone) late last week.
Brown has kicked 498 career goals, and looks set to reach his 500-goal milestone this weekend.
Although Lions fans will be delighted to see Brown back, his premiership teammate Simon Black will miss 3-4 weeks on the sidelines with a fractured hand.
The Lions will be coming off a 9-day break following their Easter Thursday clash against Carlton.
Lions Assistant Coach Mark Harvey spent over four years at the helm of Fremantle before departing at the end of the 2011 season.
Fellow Assistant Coach Adrian Fletcher played four seasons with Fremantle from 1998 to 2001. He won the Dockers' 1999 Club Champion award and Captained the Club in 2000 and 2001.
