Her outstanding leadership qualities also appealed to the Lions, after she captained the Queensland under 18 side at National Championships this year. She was also School Captain at Robina State High School.
Clarke was then selected in the AFLW Under 18 All-Australian team and was part of the inaugural NAB AFL Women’s National Academy.
In October 2017, Clarke was announced as the inaugural winner of Bond University’s Riewoldt Family AFL Excellence Scholarships. The 100% full-tuition allows Clarke to gain a first-class educational
