The Brisbane Lions has today delisted Callum Bartlett at the AFL’s third list lodgement.
General Manager, Football Operations, Dean Warren, said that the Club’s intention was to re-draft Bartlett in December.
“We believe in Callum’s ability and we intend to re-draft him as a rookie, or at the pre-season draft next month,” Warren said.
“Callum’s development has been interrupted by an unfortunate run of injuries and illness - including two knee reconstructions - but we have confidence in his talent and capability as a player.”
Bartlett was drafted at Pick No.27 at the 2009 AFL National Draft.
The 2012 Pre-Season and Rookie Drafts will be held on Tuesday 11 December.
