Redland and Brisbane will lock horns in an anticipated clash to conclude Round 2 at Tidbold Park on Sunday afternoon.
The last time they met was a fiery practice match at the same venue when the Bombers overran the Lions to win by 32 points.
Their rivalry stretches back even further with both clashes last season decided by 11 points or less.
It is shaping as another close battle this time around with Redland looking to make it two wins in a row while the Lions are out to atone a 122-point loss against Sydney last week.
Club games record holder Matt Thomson is the only inclusion for Redland, coming in at the expense of Elliot Himmelberg, who travels to Melbourne for Queensland Under-18 commitments.
Brisbane have named an extended squad due to their AFL side playing on Sunday.
Nick Robertson, Liam Dawson and rookie Billy Evans – who was elevated to the senior list during the week – have been named in the Lions’ AFL squad.
Academy members Campbell Walker, Luca Mason, and Will Fletcher come out of the NEAFL side to take on Victoria Country in the U18 practice match on Sunday.
Keep an eye on the Brisbane Lions' Twitter for updates or Download the NEAFL App.
