The Brisbane Lions have selected four uncapped players in their squad of 24 to take on the Richmond Tigers on Sunday afternoon at Brighton Homes Arena.
Season seven draft duo Charlotte Mullins and Ella Smith are a chance to debut after both training strongly throughout the preseason.
New recruits Analea McKee, Caitlin Wendland and draftee Poppy Boltz have also been named in head coach Craig Starcevich’s first squad of 2023.
Jade Pregelj will also potentially play her first game in Lions colours, getting the nod in the extended squad, tasked with tackling Richmond.
The final team will be announced at 5pm on Friday afternoon ahead of Sunday’s match.
Brighton Homes Arena will play host to the Lions season opener with the first bounce from 3:05pm.
