The Brisbane Lions and 50/50 join forces in 2025 to help raise funds for eleven charities across each Lions home game this season.
Screen Sanity and Women's Legal Service partnered with 50/50 and the Lions for Round 2 and 3 respectively, with both games giving away a $20,000 cash prize to the winners of the raffle.
The Lions Easter Thursday clash against Collingwood in Round 6 will have funds raised going toward Chilldhood Cancer Support with another big cash prize expected.
They are three of eleven charities this season, helping these organisations to continue the wonderful work they do within our communities.
50/50 Charity Raffles on Gabba game days, will give fans the chance to WIN big cash prizes, whilst supporting Australian charities.
Each charity partner will be given a dedicated Lions home game to their cause, with promotional activities adding to the funds raised through the 50/50 Charity Raffle.
This year members and fans are able to pre-purchase 50/50 Charity Raffle tickets to fundraise and support these great charities as well as supporting them on game day at The Gabba.
“Our members and fans are some of the best in the world and that extends to supporting those who need it most off the field,” Brisbane Lions CEO, Greg Swann said.
“Since joining forces with 50/50 Charity Raffle several years ago, we have been able to raise over $1.3 million for numerous worthwhile charities that play an integral role within Australian communities.
“It is fantastic that we can support these wide range of charities and help raise funds which enable these organisations to deliver services to the community.
“The work that these charities do is amazing and often unsung, so being able to provide additional avenues for these organisations to fundraise is a real privilege.”
Sharna Harding, from 50-50 Charity Raffle, is excited to continue the partnership with the Lions and can’t wait to see how much good can be done in 2025.
“We’re incredibly proud to partner with the Lions, they’re a winning team on and off the field.
“Their commitment to creating lasting community impacts shines through in the momentum they build each year – through their fundraising efforts and by championing charities that are meaningful to the fans and the Club.
“This season fans can look forward to 50-50 creating even more winning moments, with 50-50 Charity Raffles at every Gabba home game.
“There’s big, guaranteed cash prizes to be won and fans can feel good knowing they are helping to support good causes and communities in need.”
